Web Developer
Location: Penang (Remote)
Contract: 1 year
Remuneration: RM36,000-RM42,000
Job description:
- Experience in developing desktop and hybrid mobile applications
- Fluent in CSS, JavaScript and HTML
- Strong knowledge of Linux, PHP and MySQL
- Knowledge of code versioning tools especially Git
- Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug
- Experience in PHP
- Ultra familiar with WordPress development
- Comfortable customizing WordPress themes and/or building WordPress plugins
- Experience deploying and architecting websites on DigitalOcean / cPanel is a plus
- Experience in REST API design and development
- Experience with Jquery / AJAX
- Experience with OOP
- Strong knowledge of data structures, system design and algorithms
- Good communication, ability to project manage and teamwork skills
- Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics
- Great attention to detail and possesses an analytical mind
- Independent to work remotely
Qualifications:
- 2 – 3 years + of professional web developer experience.
- Fluent spoken and written English (Mandarin preferred too)
