Overview: From a C level executives meeting held in Singapore, OPPO Singapore and us got to know each other and from there we were lucky to be picked to assist them to penetrate greater exposure in the market especially online. OPPO designs and creates latest camera smartphones and the opportunity came by when they decided to launch their online store in Singapore. They started off not being listed in Google and in 24 weeks time, they topped almost every keywords on Google Page Rank 1.

Challenge: They have never done any Search Engine Optimization before, which actually in favored for us as we prefer to start all the SEO processes clean-slate as in some cases, the clients might have done SEO before but without knowing that they were paying for Black-Hat solutions. After keyword research was done, we set up pretty permalinks, cleaned up duplicated contents, rephrased the meta title and description on every pages, injected the keywords into their paragraphs, filled up the alt attribute of all images, generated xml sitemap and submitted all the information to Google so as the robot would be able to crawl successfully. As OPPO carries more than 10 products, it took us about 3 days to complete the On-Page SEO. Right after that, we  started to build the inbound links through the submissions of articles, blog posts, wikipedia and social bookmarks across the span of a month to avoid penalized by Google as we are a White-Hat agency. Hence, we would handle things carefully in our hands to make sure that the clients’ Return Of Investment(ROI) is high. Lastly, we used Positionly to track the progress of the keywords on Google as well as to monitor the health of the inbound links we created for OPPO.

Result: 6 out of 8 keywords are on Google page 1 and 5 amongst them are on top 3 in less than 24 weeks time. We boosted their rank on Google by 2000% which exposes them to a monthly unique searches of 3060.
